Founded in 1980, the New Mexico Primary Care Association (NMPCA) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation, representing 19 member organizations that operate over 160 primary care, dental, school-based and behavioral health clinics, throughout New Mexico. NMPCA also operates a HRSA-funded Health Center Controlled Network composed of 12 New Mexico and 3 Utah Health Centers. Doing business as New Mexico Health Choice Network, NMHCN assists members to generate and use data and analytics to achieve meaningful use, pursue Healthy People 2000 clinical quality goals, and support patient centered medical home implementation and certification efforts.  Additionally, NMHCN has trainers on staff, certified by eClinicalWorks in both Practice Management and Electronic Medical Records. They are available to provide training and super-user services to 11 health center members utilizing that software.
