Improving Oral Health Using Telehealth-Connected Teams: Opportunities for Health Centers
A National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) Webinar
In a rapidly changing health care environment, there are new opportunities for health centers. These include the ability to expand their role on the front line of oral health delivery systems using telehealth-connected teams and improve the ability to bring oral health care to currently underserved groups, improve oral health, and lower the per capita cost to do so.
Paul Glassman, DDS, MA, MBA, University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, will assist health centers who wish to be a part of telehealth-connected dental teams to extend dental care to underserved populations in their communities. Participants will be able to:
1. Learn advances in science and technology that enable the expansion of dental practices through Virtual Dental Homes using telehealth-connected teams;
2. Learn strategies and best prractices for expanding the reach of dental practices for expanding the reach of dental practices using telehealth-connected teams; and
3. Learn the organization, infrastructure and function of a telehealth-connected Virtual Dental Home.
