Best Practices for a Successful EHR Go Live

Best Practices for a Successful EHR Go Live

A HIMSS Learning Center Webinar

oing live on a new Electronic Health Record (EHR), is one of the most critical aspects of the overall implementation.  It HAS to be successful.   The costs and morale issues associated with a go-live gone bad are significant.  The vendor you select for the planning and execution of the go-live is another critical factor.  If you select a vendor with a methodology in place, and an experienced team by your side, your organization can mitigate the stress and disruptions that can occur during go-live.

The Leidos Health Go-Live team has successfully delivered over 480 unique go-live projects consisting of over 9,200 elbow support.   Many of the resources have worked with Leidos Health on more than 20 projects.  As a result of this experience, Leidos Health has learned and developed best practices for implementing an EHR Go-Live event. During this webinar you will hear from an experienced organization with real-world examples and best practices to help you successfully complete a go-live engagement.

Join Mark Dermott, Leidos Health Vice President of Go-Live Services, as he shares 8 key factors to ensure go-live success. You will learn how to:

  • Ensure a smooth transition for a Go-Live support team
  • Avoid common go-live challenges
  • Drive and streamline EHR adoption by clinicians, patients and staff
